The BookEverything started with a book. It was one of hundreds of the same type that had been written and published recently. Completely unremarkable with a plain black cover with silver letters embossed on it. It was another book about vampires, and in the book store that already had so many stories of those fanged demons that have so captured our imagination it was indeed fate that I had picked up that one to read instead of the usual ones about handsome monsters and love.
